Save Output of Command Prompt in a Text File

Generally if you want to copy the text from command prompt to a file you will have to right click >Mark >copy >paste .

There is a simple way of achieving the same result using a command parameter .

Syntax: command >filename.txt

In the example screen shot above we are capturing the ping result on to a text file in D drive with the name file.txt

the result captured in the text file is shown below .
